Default Transport

Hey,
Backdraft does not ship the car to me, but it'll land in Florida. They say they would transport it for 2k to California, or to hire a transport myself.

How did 'you' do it- what was the cost, and how long did it take?
Mine comes without drive train. I guess that's a factor.

$2K to ship 3,000 miles. in an enclosed trailer with full insurance. That's a heck of a deal. You couldn't do it yourself for that money.

Write the check.

Coach

Be sure you disclose to the transport company that the car is not drivable. There generally is a premium.

Also be sure you specify upper level and if not that your car is covered.

And ask based on the route how many times your car will be unloaded and reloaded.

What carrier do they use? You want a covered carrier like Intercity or Reliable.
