I'd say 'yes' to the black spacer, but 'no' to the silver one. You may need to put some reinforcement under the silve spacer if you remove the black one to give the slider enough space to properly function. Consider either a thinner version of the black one or at least a large diameter fender washer. Is "large diameter fender washer" redundant?

Mine only has the silver ones, maybe the PO removed the blacks ones on mine. My guess is that the silver one are probably needed to get clearance for the slider to work.
