If this is factual, it should make some interesting reading.

It does seem to support the GT40's later (but not much later) beating the 427 Cobra's time.

To the OP. An access door is pretty handy. Since the floor is flat there, it's no big deal to make one.

Whoops! I can just duplicate it in the correct thread...


As to the original thread, I did the hole in the trunk floor route since I seemed to be removing the tank for rehab every few months for a while. I saved the trunk carpet piece and glued it to the removed square of floor and reinstalled the piece. It's obvious when looking at the floor but not obnoxious!
