Angry speedometer gear?

I'm trying to hook up my speedometer but do not know what part I need to finish it. I have a cable but no gear for it. Any one know what the part number is. I have a 3550 with a 310 rear end. Also, any one have the part number for the head lights? I've tried to get this info from Reg and have not had much luck with him or Mike from tri state. Any one else having problems with them. These are a few minor ones I am having with them and the car. Are they pretty good at replacing things like a hood that has warped with the paint bubling?

Hey Fletch:
I need a little more information. What tires are you running in the back?

If it's a 275/60-15 the calculation would be as follows -

Driven Gear Teeth = (Drive Gear Teeth * Axle Ratio * Tire Revs per Mile) / 1000

DGT = (7 * 3.1 * 745) / 1000 = 16

The part number is C0DZ-A from Ford (assuming the tire size I used).

Assuming the 295/50 have a rolling circumference of about 79 inches (my old 305/50s were 80.25 inches), the answer would be

(7 * 3.1 * 802 revs/mile) / 1000 = 17.4

The driven gear would have 17 teeth. That's Ford part C3DZ-C.

number of teeth color part#
16 wine C0DZ-A
17 white C3DZ-C
18 yellow C0DD-B
19 pink C0DZ-B
20 black C1DZ-A
21 red C4OZ-A

The revs per mile calculation is (5280ft per mile * 12inches per foot) / 79 inches per turn of the tire.
