Chuck- Boudy is in Idaho this week working his "real" job.

Gunrack has been in the engine shop in Texas for 8 weeks since I bent 3 pushrods.

Eight weeks of almost-perfect top-down weather here in Oklahoma.

I want my little blue car.

By the time I get it, I will probably need the heater and ragtop. (optional, spendy)

The pics I have seen of Cobras with the ragtops in place...

Ug! Man, that is one butt-ugly car.

I want my little blue car.

Click on my "camera" icon- look for the pic of Gunrack with my Bosslady.

Then you will know why...

I want my little blue car.

Smile SORRY TODD

SINCE MY NEW BDR IS NOT GOING TO BE DELIVERED UNTIL NEXT WEEK OR SO I TOOK THE LIBERTY OF REMOVING SOME OF THE PARTS ON WHAT THE GUYS AT KEITH CRAFT NOW REFER TO AS THE "SALVAGE VEHICLE". IT MAY BE QUITE SOME TIME BEFORE YOU GET YOUR LITTLE BLUE CAR BACK SINCE OIL IS ONLY $55 A BARREL AND I AM ON A BUDGET. EVEN SO WHEN YOU DO GET IT BACK IT WILL ONLY TAKE A SHORT WHILE TO REPLACE THE CLUTCH AND TRANNY....THEY ARE ON ORDER AND SHOULD BE HERE SOON.

Jay, may the warm winds of paradise waft to you the sweet aroma of sun-ripened fish.

Viper-whipping?

I have been accused of, and been caught at, many things...

Hey, a Viper has 10 cylinders and costs a zillion dollars (with A/C)
but the bloody thing fires two cylinders at once, so the exhaust note is basically... a five-banger.

It sounds like my lawn mower on steroids with a subwoofer.

I might gently flog, chastize, or torment a Viper, but I would NEVER whip one.

I'll just be at the next stoplight in time to see him pull up next to me.

From behind, naturally.

and they have a CD player ..............

and as long as it's the viper pulling up next to you and not a cop with his light show you'll be fine.

means you can gently flog, chastize, or torment it all over again.

of course he'll probably rev it to the limiter and smoke it up off the line, but you can just turn left and cruise off ...... while he gets the cop with free light show, as by then he'll have caught up.

regards

Doug- the phrase "...cop with the free light show..."

I like it.

I just stole it.

KeithCraft Plano will pull the engine apart tomorrow, this makes Week Nine since Gunrack was in my driveway. It pulls strong to 3000 RPM then stutters.

At this point in time, I am still refraining from making disparaging remarks about KeithCraft Motor Sports in Plano, Texas, even though the engine they built me for about $11K still does not run properly.

Jeez, for that kind of money, I could hire 8 topless Nordic virgins to pull Gunrack down the street in our little Christmas parade.

I want my little blue car.

UT,

If it pulls strong to 3000 RPM then don't go past that and you will feel great.

Also they could be considering the fast, easy fix. A Tach that reads double what you are actually turning.

Ron

Hope that you get Gunrack back soon, before the weather goes completely away.

Just saw on SPEED last night that there is a new BMW M5 with a V10 500HP engine. Maybe Backdraft should offer that engine as an alternative.
