Default mistake on VIN #

I just wanted to bring this to the attention of any other BDR owners that had build #'s close to mine. During the build phase of my BDR I was told my build # was #179 and my VIN# ended in the #s 1954. On the day I took delivery, even my SMO stated these #s.
It wasn't until a couple of weeks ago I had my head down in the engine compartment and I noticed that my VIN plate stated that I had BDR build #178 and my VIN# ended in 1953. OH OH!
I've already registered the car and received the title. I e-mailed Reg at backdraft and even sent some photos of the chassis # and VIN plate. He advised to me to sit tight but that was a week ago and have yet to hear anything else from him even after e-mailing him again.
So, if you have a BDR with a build # between 177-180, you may want to double check your VIN plate and chassis stamp. I don't know if this involves just 2 cars that may have gotten switched around during the build phase or more. Everything else with the car has been just perfect. All I have to do now is head back to the DMV and straighten out my #"s, shouldn't be to bad. Thank goodness I don't live in California
