Default #200 coming from Reg!

Howdy all,
I bought this car on 12/31/04 and began ordering additional items soon thereafter. I just made a deal with Keith Craft to build me the standard 408 (575hp/555tq). I also put in an order for some spec built Billet Specialties SLC85 - Blades with a soft lip. I know this might offend the purists, but I like the look better. I'm leaning pretty hard towards the TKO 500. I believe the rear end is a 3.11. Anyone think I'd be better off with something else? Anyone know of a good place to buy it?

BTW, the car should arrive here tomorrow, but the drivetrain will be a few weeks yet. Still, it's pretty d@mn exciting! Thanks to all who contribute to this site. It was all the info here that helped me with a lot of my decisions.

Take care,
Link

Saw some pics of the interior of your car with the #200 on the dash and trans tunnel. Prism red is a great colour on the car.

As to the wheels - it's your car so you're allowed anything you like as long as it'll fit If anyone gets bent out of shape about it, well it's their problem - your problem is getting the 575HP to hook up when you drop the hammer on it

On the TKO front - Mike Forte is a name I've only heard great things about. His prices are great and his advice and experience in matching engine, tranny, rear and wheels is better. Give him a call.

Those few weeks waiting for the ponies will be the longest of your life !!

regards

Congradulations. I like the wheels. It's your car, poop on anyone who scarfs at them.

Talk to DC Cobra. He's got a similar package and has changed gears a couple times.

Many thanks for the replies, fellas. The car was just dropped off today and I don't know how many exclamation points would be required to acurately express my excitement right now! Man, I wish I'd gotten the ball rolling sooner on the motor. I guess there's gonna be a lot of coats of polish put on between now and the arrival of the important pieces.

Link,
I saw your car a week or so ago at Reg's. I is very nice. Seems like only yesterday I saw #100 there also.

AS to the wheels, as others have said, it's your money, do what you like.
It's not like it's never been done before. The Bullet style wheels are very comon on Factory Five Kit Cars, along with the Cobra R wheel.

Good luck
Jay
