Sorry, I'm no purist. When I absolutely have to get into the boot, I bend some thin license-plate metal and sacrifice some skin to operate the latch. I usually leave the boot latch open, it never rattles or lifts or does anything stupid when I forget to twist it shut. Ever.
I'm proud of my license frame, Oklahoma DeadHorse Mustangs.
I just let my (bent all to hell) license plate flap in the breeze.
Gunrack is a driver, would be a total joke at a car show, so we don't go to car shows. Battle damage and such, dontcha know. Give me sunshine, at least 62 degrees, a dry road, and I'm listening to the sidepipes.
