Glad you found the problem. I was thinking about the relay after you left.

Removed the flasher relay, tapped it and pushed it back in, light is out and works like it should. I think however, I will pick up a spare just in case this one is trying to die on me.

Easier and cheaper to change brake pads than a clutch.
