Default Aftermarket 17" performace wheels

Does any one know if I can put 17" aftermarket wheels on our backdraft cobras.

I currently have 15" boltons that i would keep for local rides and shows, but am thinking of getting separate 17" rims and tires for performance driving

any thought would be appreciated.

I seem to recall UnclTodd putting some 17" Boyd smoothies on his Backdraft "Gunrack"... tho I don't know that's what you'd want for the track.

You right, Slick! ...on both points.

17X8 front, 17X10 rear, Boyd Coddington Smoothies.

Sticky Nittos @ 16-18 PSI for highway and, um, "straight line" competition.

I personally would not road race my setup, tire pressure/tire life issues.

Gary, there are any number of SCCA veterans on this forum that can provide you a wealth of information and advice.

Mine is worthless... I'm just a crippled-up fat old bald guy who hasn't been on a road course since 1976.

Luck, Brudda!
