Default Cooling Fan Siezed

Lost the Drivers side cooling fan on 128. Anyone know of a direct replacement? It is a 10 in fan. Don't have any specs on air flow. Someone mentioned a replacement by Spal a while back.

Here is the one I would go with. As long as your at it, replace both. These will move more air then the stockers.

Thanks Jim. Dimensionally, that looks like the one that will fit.

I should have phrased that "this is the one I went with". I did install 2 of these in BDR181. I believe I did have to make some new bolt holes but they fit very well.

I ordered Spal 2057's from the fan man. They are like 1000cfm's compared to the stockers that are like 650 something. The Spals are quieter and move more air. Just drill four new holes as patern is a little different for mounting each fan. Use the wiring from the spal fans and pop the leads out of the old fans connector and reuse connector. The Spals draw a little more current but is fine using the factory wiring. Made a big difference in cooling my car.

Thanks Jim and Mark. I ordered the Spals (2) from Fan Man this morning. I also figured, like Mark, that I would have to drill new mount holes. I am also going to drill a new top shroud hole on the left because the existing hole is just behind the cross brace.
Mark, is the color code for the wires the same?

I believe the color code was the same. I would go out and look but I put it all back into the wire loom. Either way, if the fans run backwards, its really easy to pull the wiring out of the connector to swap them around.

Thanks for the input. Should have them up and running by Friday.
