I use a syringe (like you get in a drug store for administering medicine) with clear vinyl tubing attached to the end. It's still a pain. Would be nice to have it mounted on the firewall or something.

That was really interesting about the merits of a push versus pull type cylinders. I am using a push now, but I saw a photo of a pull type attached to a bracket on the tranny and it *looked* like a good way to go, but now with the seal direction thing I guess its not. The push works fine, but the alignment of the shaft and the fork is hard to get straight and you have to worry about the bellhousing getting in the way.

I guess there is a reason that manufactures use hydraulic throwout bearings.

I remove the louver/vent on the drivers side and can get to both resevoirs easliy.

I do both, pulling the louver on the driver side is really quick and easy then I use a syringe that I found at a pet store to give meds. to dogs and cats. The whole vile hold the same amount as the resevior.
