Yo MZ,
As you look at each of the posts you will see a little camera icon under each of the members name.....click on that and you will get a lot of pictures with different aspects of the cars.
Welcome again,
Tony R.

We used to meet at Baja's in Mountain View for breakfast, then some folks head to Santana Row depend on the mood.

I PM'd you today but I always hang out at SR; a bunch of exotics and high performance (and some low performance) cars hang out near the theater. They forced us to start around 10:30AM now, but I usually get there at 10:00 (I just don't go down the main strip.)
I still have all my "Gold Rush" stickers on so it'll be fairly obvious which one is my car.

Hey MZ,
There is no need to wait unitl January to register your car.
According to our DMV contact lady, there are still some SB 100 numbers left (as of a few weeks ago).
With all the C.A.R.B. crap going on, it might be better to do it sooner rather than later and get in the queue.
It does not have to be running or even completed to register it.
You just need to have a receipts of amount paid (for tax calculation) and a Certificate of Origin from the Manufacturer to go in and get it registered and get an SB 100 sequence number assigned.
All the rest of the tasks can be completed when the car is running.
Good Luck and Welcome.
Maybe we will see you at the Rock House on Saturday.
Jim

(I agree, Black is really great)

WOW... Thanks Jim.. I thought that it would be good to try to get it running by January because i just want it to start running LOL.. i figured since it's not running i can use the money to "register it" to continue with interior, paint, etc. i may just do that instead and then once the shop gets things running i can change it.. Thanks a lot for the information.. it was REALLY helpful. I sent you a PM, so just respond whenever you have time.. Thanks

Need help with anything? I got engine stand you can borrow; hoist as well. Email me if you need the stuff. I like tearing apart engines!

When it comes time for paint, check out www.streetrodpainter.com. He's up in Yuba City, and does outstanding work and his pricing is great. I had him do my ERA earlier this year. Check out my gallery for pictures.
Yeah, I drove mine around in gel coat for a year before paint. Couldn't resist.

289fia_cobra: Thanks for the offer, but we are going to try and see if we can oil it up and turn the motor.. but other then that i'll have to buy a new motor, which our friend's shop will be sapping the motors.. but thanks a bunch, i'll let you know.
Dangerous Dan: Thank you for the referal! When the time comes, i'll definitely be sure to keep that in mind.
