Thanks for the warm welcomes, guys! I would LOVE to post pictures... I decided to join while i was at work so at the moment i don't have anything here, but will be posting the pictures as soon as i get home..

It's black (well fiberglass with the black gel coat), has a 302 block, 5.0 baca racing engine.. It's not running at the moment. Still has minor things but i'm hopefully getting it into a shop by the end of the month (hoping SOONER)

I was wondering if anyone had an reccomendations on where to get side pipes?? And what are the costs?? Please & thanks (start with something small)

Welcome aboard. Will see what you post for pictures. We may be able to help; from the description, wondering if it's a factory five. If you sit in the drivers seat and look at the 2" frame just behind the steering wheel and a few inches lower and to the left, (close to the door hinge) you should see something like : FFR100####### etched in. This assumes there's a frame there to begin with but I'm just guessing at this point, until you post pictures.

Classic Motor Carriages: Here's the pics i promised.. I'm hoping my car is running by January so i can register it *fingers crossed* and then maybe before that i can worry about the paint, wheels and interior.. LOL.. One at a time, though.. Last Picture is of our garage, My BF's car on the right, a rare R33 Skyline GT-R

CMC - that hasn't been talked about in ages around here. And wow, that gel-coat is 100x better than when my FFR's body came to my house.

Off topic a bit but is your BF's Skyline a right-hand driver? All of the gray-marketed skylines that came into the port of Los Angeles from Japan should all have been RH drivers.

That garage is full of two potent machines and both legendary. Congrats!

BTW: do not paint the car at this point. Get it worked on and running and get any bugs out of the way (creaks, electrical bugs, etc.) and once you feel it's running w/o any issues that would require removing the body (not even sure you can do that with CMC or not), then get it painted.

Let us know if we can be of any help. Many of us here are gear-heads and could even come over to assist. (if you go to my link, you'll get an idea).

Yeah DEFINITELY.. my MAIN concern is to get it running.. All that stuff i listed is for future wants.. I also want to make sure i take it to someone i trust, because i was already very protective over my car and i hope that habit doesn't get any worse HAHA.. I want to double check that all the work my dad did was efficient and to get it all done before anything else so it can run like a champ

But yeah.. My BF's car is RHD.. I love being riding shot gun, even though i do get worried if i'm texting would a cop pull me over because he assumed i'd be driving *shrugs* who knows?? haha..

Hope everyone is having a good morning!

Black is hard to keep clean, but I don't think many colors look better when it is. Even my bike is black and chrome!
The wheels came polished, so it's just a matter of keeping them that way. I use What-a-Shine polish that I get from the Peterbuilt shop. Stuff works great!!
