Dave and others - the Texas guys will be at the Embassy Suites in So. City. on Saturday morning. We are hoping a group of local guys will be available to dine with them and "help" them unload their cars from the trailer. I believe Monster and some others are planning on driving over and then driving with the Texans to the Wine Country. They will thus be in the North Bay on Sunday morning to take the ride to the Coast and eventually down to Half Moon Bay.
If possible, please plan to join us in SSF.
Additionally and primarily for the south Bay guys who might have some time on Monday, the 7 Texans who are coming in on Friday night will be meeting with another 7 Texas cars at San Jose airport on Monday morning for a drive to Monterey and eventually down to San Diego. They would welcome some locals to join them for the ride to Monterey (and beyond if you have the time and inclination). Do you, Doug or any others have an interest/availability to join in on the Monday drive? If so, Monster has more information. Please sign up on BACCEvents.com - here is the link: http://www.baccevents.com/Coast10.html so that he can get a count.
The fly in the ointment is the pending weather. I plan to meet in SSF on Saturday morning regardless of the weather (think daily driver). It would be nice if others could do the same.

Does anyone know what time the cars will be unloading in SSF?
I have no idesa if I can make it, yet, but I do know that there's a very good breakfast place in north part of Burlingame near the Millbrae border called "Bay Watch." It's just a block south, on El Camino, of the Millbrae Avenue exit off 101. There's a nice-sized parking lot since there's a small supermarket called Piazza's and a CVS/Longs (or whatever). Usually plenty of parking.

The Embassy Suites is probably 2-3 exits up (north) on 101. Just a thought.

It's actually a good time to eat considering it's the same time as Livermore Breakfast (roughly). I'll see you at 7:45AM, maybe 8:00AM depending on how Friday night progresses.

Tom,
I just sent Mike an IM regarding the Monday run down the coast. I'm going to try and make it.

Doug,
I got your IM and replied. Please use email rather than IM moving forward since I seem to check it more often than CC-IM's.
Also please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any additional questions regerding this trip.
Thanks,
Mike

Dave,
I'm good for breakfast on Saturday morning. Leave Saratoga at 8am. The weekend is booked with my son running for City Council of Los Altos so I can not do the North Bay event. See the website www.fishpaw.com
To All: donations are welcome. It is a learning experience but not cheap.......and I think he is going to win!

Steve: Don't let the 40% chance of rain on Sunday worry you. I am presuming you will have more than one *real* Cobra in your bunch (no top or working windshield wipers), so I am guaranteeing the appearance of at least one similar beast from the deep south (south bay) for breakfast Sunday in Petaluma. I just located my parka I used to raft the Colorado back in the day and once I find my Rain-X I'm ready to go. Rich

Rich, since you are close to the same advanced age as myself, I'll assume you forgot what this thread is about, between the time you clicked on it and the time you actually typed your response.

I know how easy it is to confuse old people Dave, but I noticed no one had responded to Steve's concern about the weather and thought I'd let him know we weren't about to "pull a bait and switch." OK, I could've replied sooner, but I was hoping the weather report would get better, not worse, as it turns out. So, am I going to see anyone else at breakfast Sunday in Petaluma? Rich
