Ask Peter to tell you the story of the first car breaking the sound barrier. He was there.
I can put pressure on Lance to get the Black Fia up to you if you are interested.
No promises but If it arrives in time I can ask

Steve,

Planning in advance...what time do you think the event will kick off?

PANAVIA 01-05-2011 07:55 PM

Kick off is at about 10AM, with a soft start. -- the main presentation should be at 12 noon lets say with peter reviewing the coupe in the showroom.

we will be doing some question and answer time before then, and autographs will be available.

Peter ( and I ) ask that autographs be for your personal use only, and not for sale ( resale)

we will not be trying to connect any charity to the event, this is just people who want to learn about cars and check out the mustang ranch event!

I found a great article on peter, --

http://www.coachbuilt.com/des/b/brock/brock.htm

I spoke with Peter and Gayle , and they sound exited and (VERY ) exited about the restoration project we will be unveiling with peter there, that he has been very helpful and supportive of thus far.

CANT WAIT @@!!!!

The event will happen , Rain or shine, -- if you want to bring your collector car , you are welcome to, however we are not sure of parking , and as you know the ranch has limited parking.

Thank you to all, I look forward to seeing all of you.

Best Regards,

Steve

Hi guys

Greetings from down under. I am wondering where the Mustang Ranch is in relation to Market Street in SFC. We are in town from 28th Jan to the 1st Feb and would not mind making my way to the Open Day that is if it is open to the public.

Cheers
Brett

Dangerous Doug 01-13-2011 08:24 PM

Brett: Mustang Ranch is near Santa Clara University in San Jose, so it'd be 30-45 minutes drive south from SF down Hwy 101.
