My plans have just changed - anyone up for breakfast in the morning?

I was actually thinking of the Rock House, as it is "re-opening" for us tomorrow...

Its 8:27... sorry, just didn't get the message in time. I will be working on the motor a little more today (putting the flywheel back on)

Here's a progress picture:

Primed up the oil pump - got all 16 rockers to bleed out oil.

I hope you guys were able to get to lunch last Saturday. I was pouring wine at my buddy's winery at the Annual Barrel Tasting all weekend. Tough work. But I'm clear for next Saturday. I wonder what the weather's going to be like? Rich

You probably will get your Cobra back on the road before the truck heads west from New Britain with my car ... but hopefully not by too much

well, funny thing about the clutch,... it had the same heat blemishes as my flywheel! I wish I had taken a look after I removed it - while resurfacing the flywheel is straight forward, I suspect it's not worth trying to resurface the clutch plate too.

SO... I've put in an order for a new clutch and will try the Centerforce Dual-Friction unit. Always curious about this type of clutch so I'm giving it a whirl.

While I was on the phone, I also picked up some new "dress-up pieces"... I'm keeping this a secret until it arrives. Might be a few weeks for that to come in but from what I've seen, it'll probably be worth the wait.

So for now, the engine sit's on a dolly, with the flywheel now installed w/engine plate. Taking apart the engine stand.
