Default Flush to the Floor Style Lift

Has anyone installed a flush to the floor lift? The one I am looking at is BendPak P-6FB. 22" net Low Rise.

I like this style more than the scissors lift because it has a completely open center. No scissors, no cross beams. Easy access to drive line components.

However, is a 22" lift adequate for routine maintenance? I can't imagine needing full height or even mid height capability.

dunno, i would seriously consider a full height lift, what if you need to drop an oil pan, change a clutch or trans. if your 18 years old thats one thing, but i just can't crawl around on the floor like i used to.....

you could get a used lift too, go to your local repair facility and ask them who services their lifts, they will probably sell the trade ins they get and install them for the price of a new scissor lift or less

i got a used Benwil 7000lb and installed for 1100.00

LodiWino,

There is a place in Tracy on the north side of the 205 just before Tracy Blvd.. DD lifts or D&D lifts or something like that. You might try there.

Hope you find what you want.

The MaxJax ones seem pretty good. The only thing is that they SEEM like they would be unstable. It only has a smallish looking plate on the bottom for the whole thing to rest on.

If you made the bottom plate bigger, that might be a different story..
