Ray, we should be by there sometime around 1130 or so. We do not plan to stop anywhere along the road but thank you for the suggestion.
I will try to post here when we leave San Ramon and when we leave Treasure Island. No promises as it always gets hectic as we hit the road.
Currently we have about 25 cars and 40 to 45 people. Thanks to all for your participation.

What time do you guys expect to be on and then leaving Treasure Island?
I'm trying to hit four events that day-- I'd be coming from the Presidio and want to join in as far as Princeton, then I gotta turn around if I want to see the first race of the America's Cup on my way to Berkeley to see the dear old Bears try to win one.
No problem!

Tom,
Many thanks for organizing a wonderful trip and lunch. We know such events do not happen without a lot effort in planning and oversight.

EOS run
I'm very envious that I couldn't make it. My Cobra has been going thou a major rebuild for a long time but should be done by Halloween. Maybe next year.
The picture of the new bridge is great. I was the Cal Trans safety inspector during the entire fabrication of the tower and the metal sections of the bride. They were fabricated in Shanghai, China and I spent on and off three years over there. So.... I've been in nearly every section....but haven't had the the chance yet to drive over the completed bridge.
Well it looks like you all had a great time!
Maybe next year!
Mike

I really like this shot. I removed the poles ans had to crop it to 3x5. Added a little color but the resolution is very low so there was little more I could do.

Looks like a great time! The next time this happens, it should be when the old bridge is finally dismantled, showing only the new span.
