How do I join the club?
 Hi all,
I’m thrilled to say my Hurricane kit is “in the mail” as we speak, it’s one of the last ones as they suspend business, I’m expecting a 2-4 month build time, and ready to join a club anytime.

Would also like to get referrals to shops that do good alignment, and paint.

I was recently turned on to the Danville car hop, saw a few cobras there, and then more on the following weekends at the Hot Summer Days and the Good guys show in Pleasanton. More specifically, I chatted with a guy at the car hop, and then saw his car at the next two events, the 427 Roush car with the gray/black/red paint. One of the car hop guys mentioned Clementines, and I see that is the home base for this club after poking around a bit.

Looking forward to getting to know folks!

 Kamal

Mike | Thank you Mike! Is the etiquette to wait till my car is complete to head down and meet up with you guys? I could show up with build pics either in a 335i, or any number of classic motorcycles. |

Take lots of build photos and make copies of all your invoices cause you're gonna need to submit all of that information as part of the SB100 application process. |

Everything I've bought has reciepts, and sales tax has been paid on, with the expection of the kit ($25K), motor ($9500), and the trans ($3000).
I know that plenty of people who build cars will source used (read: cheap) engines and trannys and simply clean them up. I had the thought to have done the same in the eyes of the DMV, however, not sure if its worth the ~$1500 in savings on the tax bill when I finally get it registered. Thoughts?
