Reno hot August nights
I don't recall anyone talking about going to Reno this week for the hot August nights event. So far all that I've heard about is Larry D, Rick C and myself. Anyone else going? If so give one of us a call and we can figure out where to meet while in Reno.

I am planning on driving to reno on saturday, the 10th, leaving the bay area early afternoon. I'm hoping to cruise around and enjoy stuff until sometime at night, and then drive back home. I figure maybe 16 hours round trip. I have never attended, so maybe my expectations are overblown, but I hope to have a blast. If anyone is interested in a caravan either way, let me know.

I will be there by noon on Friday and plan to leave Saturday morning. Hope to meet up with the Cobra crowd so I'll be on the lookout for snakes.

We have a terminal head gasket in our street car so we will not be attending this year. My husband has to get it replaced before my next points race which is the following weekend. However we will be on the Snakes trip in October.
I know of quite a few local owners going - Larry Davi, Shaun, Russ Thompson, Reno Morella, Glenn (Weendoggy), Len (Hula Girl) etc.

space from reno 2 bay area ??
It just occured to me that maybe someone from the area would be driving to and from reno in something other than a cobra, maybe a trailer or a truck or something. I have a hardtop sitting at dynamic in reno, waiting until I figure out how to get it home. I'm not up for driving 5 hours back with it attached as my first trip with the top. If this can work for anyone, please let me know.
