 Frankly,,,,,I gave up on the whole mess.  You think it's hard to register in Calif.  try Hawaii!!  IT's a freakin nightmare here.
 Solution?  I just bought back my Excalibur from the guy I sold it to a few months ago (yeah, I had to kick in a few extra thou to get him to do a deal).
 
 Near as I can figure the Excalibur is the ONLY totally, without question piece of cake in ANY state DOT and FED approved "Cobra".  Because it is a "real" car built by a "real" manufacturer and meeting the Fed requirements at the time of build.  Insurance?  No problem there either!  Is it my first choice of Cobras?  No, but I like it!
 
 Selling my DV built Classic Roadster because I could not find a way to register it here legally.  There ARE ways to do it in most of the other States, but it takes some work.  Right now in Hawaii, you CANNOT legally register a new Cobra, PERIOD, on the Island of Oahu.  This does not bode well for the future.............
