Hey fellas,
I'm heading on out there Saturday with my wife--we're in Novato, so it's all of fifteen minutes to get there. For once, living at this end of the Bay Area has some sort of advantage. I'm going to try to hook up with Terry K. from Nevada--he got himself a new Class A motorhome he's dying to show off. It'll give me another place to escape bad weather during NorCal SAAC open track events! Hope to see you there...

Hey Pete,
sure you won't have a chance to join us down at the Historics in August? Are ya sure, sure, sure, are ya are ya are ya? It's going to be very cool down ther this time... It's 100years for Ford and 40 years for Shelby. Ford is the marquee this year. We'll be on the blacktop lot this year (not in the dirt). Let me know if you change your mind at some point so you can caravan down with us. We are going down Thursday and coming back on Monday to wait after that Sunday traffic back home... See Ya. Duane

Thanks for the offer Duane. We'll see about August. That late in the month I'm always trying to juggle time with family and the final touches on the car in prep for Labor Day weekend and Mini Nats at Sears Point!

I wussed out! I drove the Cobra in the 100 degree heat on Saturday and come Sunday, I just could not force myself into that beast! Did you go and how hot was it!
