A Cobra has been my dream car since a friend bought an original in 1963. His story ends with a wife (now ex-wife) that made him sell it in 1968. Traded it actually for a VW....and owed some on the deal!
My story is a little different.
Love the cars, have pictures, posters, key chains, coffee mugs, belt buckle, in short every thing I could have -short of a car.
Bought a raffle ticket and won..don't hate me... a beautiful 289 powered fia.
Truthfully the actual car, engine and color I had on my wish list.
Now the story. My wife knew of my obsession but figured she was safe until my winning. She asked me to sell it or take the money to remodel the kitchen.
NO was the answer and still is.
We eat out a lot.
