I cant go tomorrow wife is out of town so me and the boy are hanging out. Greg what happened to your side pipes? I've got new headers that I havent installed yet, that came with new gaskets. I wont be using them for a while so if you need to take mine and replace em later you are more than welcome to.

Greg: No excuse! My new driveshaft won't be ready until Monday. But I'll still be there telling driveshaft loop tales. Bring a Brand X and park over by me. I'll buy the coffee. Rich

Hey Rich,
What the heck is taking so long. Did you have to mine the ore to send to the mill to make the metal to make the drive to put in the car .

Scott: At first, it was just too cold to work on the beast. Then I decided to install the Summit one-size-fits-all driveshaft loop. It's kinda tight in between those frame tubes, so I've been slowly chopping and drilling a little at a time. And then I saw Dean's blown driveshaft photos. I realized that my shaft, driveshaft that is, wasn't optimal. So a couple of weeks ago, I dug up the best local driveshaft guy and we designed a better unit. You know, Spicer 1350 U-joints (no lube), chromoly shaft, forged yoke, ARP fasteners, racing paint: the works. Then there was the time spent at the steel manufacturer... Rich

Gentlemens: This Saturday, April 21 is time for Breakfast at Bernie's...wait, that's not it...Breakfast at Baji's! Yeah, that's it. My beast is finally back on the road and the rain expectation is only 20%. If the streets are dry, I'm drivin' it. But I'll be there anyway telling anyone who'll listen how simple it is [not] to build a new superduty drive shaft, install a drive shaft loop, etc. Come on by for the best omelettes in town! Rich

Hey, Scott, that's too far for me to go right now. Perhaps after I get my new larger cqpacity gas tank that I've been working on for a while. I hope we all get some nice weather for the weekend, especially Saturday AM! Rich
