The plan is to leave from the Rock House between 8:30 and 8:45 to head for Sonoma.

Any and all are welcome.....Jan and I will be there early to have a bite to eat before we go.

				 "Wine Country Cobra Classic"
 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NorCal & Bay Area Cobra Club
"Wine Country Cobra Classic"
Sonoma Square
April 19th, 2008

NorCal & Bay Area Cobra Clubs would like to invite all Cobra, Daytona, and GT 40 owners to the First Annual “Wine Country Cobra Classic” Get-Together to be held on the beautiful Sonoma Square. Private parking will provided by the City of Sonoma directly in front of City Hall. Just pull up to the barricade and they will let you in!

This will be a relaxing social get together so throw a few folding chairs in the trunk and plan to hang out for while. There are plenty of great places to eat & drink in any direction , so plan on lunch.

I had to secure the parking, barricades, and security with the City so a small donation of $10 bucks or less would be appreciated. We’ll see how many show up and divvy up from there.

It will be great to hang out, eat, mingle, and show off the cars in this beautiful public setting.

I’m looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible before WSCB!!!

Talk soon, John Marsey

 Hi Guys.....
Sounds like a great ride 580 East.....680 North across the Benecia Bridge ---- Bring your fast pass you can drive through the toll gates at 70 MPH to Route 12 off 80 west and turn left toward Sonoma.

We will pass all the little baby bottles of 2008 vintage wines growing on the vines.

Weather man says 80 degrees and sunny !!!!!!!!!!!

 Hey Curtis,
Fitz is hooking up with us at the truck weigh station on 680 North in Walnut Creek, I am calling him when we are ready to pull out of the Rock House.

Let me know if you want to coordinate with him and then we can cruise together frm there........Bring your Fast Pass.

 Hey Tony,
That's a great idea. I will be coming from 24 and then connecting onto 680. Is the weigh station north of the 24 interchange? I'm not too familiar with the 680 corridor. What time should I get to the weigh station? 8:45?

This is going to be the first long cruise with my wife. I just hope it won't be too cold for her (even with the heater), or it might turn out to be the last one. |

 Hey Tony,
Change in plans. I'm going to meet up with a couple of cobras in Emeryville. If timing is perfect, maybe we will run into you guys on 12. Otherwise, see you at the square.

 Thanks.

Tan....We will wait on the other side of the toll gates for those that do not have a "Fast Pass", we just need to be aware of who and how many we are waiting for.
Curtis, after you come off of 24 to 680 North the truck weigh station is close to the Geary road exit, just pull through the scales and wait on the other side, that is waht Fitz does, we should be coming through there around 9:00.
