Update - please send your reservation in ASAP If you have not already done so, please submit your reservation form (see BACCEvents.com) by this Monday in order that we may let Mr. DenBeste know how many people he should plan to feed at the BBQ as well as being able to let Ledson get a similar head count. Logistics – about 8:30 AM leave from either the Rock House or Stacks in Burlingame. Depart Sears Point/Infineon by 10:15± for Ledson Winery tasting and shopping. Leave Ledson by 12:30 PM for DenBeste Motorsports (www.denbestemotorsports.com) in Windsor - arrive around 1 PM. After the viewing of Mr. DenBeste’s collection and his hosted BBQ, people are free to head home around 3 PM or decide on another winery/attraction to visit – nothing formal has been planned. Burlingame departure – please respond if you plan to meet at Stacks (www.stacksrestaurant.com) for either coffee, breakfast or just meeting, in order that I might mark off an adequate number of spaces across (east of) California Drive in the CalTrain Parking lot. Stacks is a very popular weekend restaurant so the earlier arrival time, the better – I will get there between 7:15 and 7:30. Unless traffic that day is excessive, the SF & Peninsula group will be going over the GG Bridge. Due to city traffic, we will likely stop at the Vista Point just on the other side of the Bridge, for a couple of minutes, to allow City folks to join in or those who got caught in traffic, to catch up - you should be there by 9 AM if you are not coming up from the Peninsula. Sears Point/Infineon – Russell Racing will be having an event that weekend so depending on your arrival time, one can watch them for a few minutes while others make a pit stop or get fuel. This will be a well attended event and is a great introduction to the BACC for new owners and their significant others, as well as those who have enjoyed similar events in the past. Please join us. Tom, Danette and I will meet up with you. What time do you think we will depart from Starbucks? Scott |
Scott - if you are asking what time we are leaving Stacks Restaurant in Burlingame, that would be around 8:30 AM. It takes less than 5 minutes to get from the Peninsula Avenue exit off of 101 to Stacks. Driving north on California Drive, you will see us parked on the right, about 200 yards past Burlingame Avenue (2nd light). I would like to be @ Sears Point a little before 10 AM in order to allow time for pit stops and a little schmoozing. If you are referencing the Starbucks that you guys often meet at before Bajis', you may want to MapQuest the travel time. Tom PS - from prior correspondence, I know you won't be dining with us. |
Tom, I'm mailing my reg to you tomorrow morning. See you on the 12th. thanks, Gene |
Scott, I think Kathleen and I are going to pass on breakfast at Stacks. You want to plan on meeting at the Starbucks on Camden/85 at around 7:30? It'll probably take us 30 to 40 minutes to get to Burlingame, so if we leave Starbucks before 8:00 am we should be fine. |
Meeting times Since I have received several e-mails about meeting times, they are as follows: Check my 6/25 post for breakfast departure points if you wish to convoy. Leave Infineon at 10:15 AM - arrive earlier for fuel, pit stops and view of Russell Racing folks doing laps. We will meet outside the main gate - please park out of the way of Infineon's operations. We have made NO arrangements with Infineon for access - we are using them merely as a meeting point but they should allow you in, although you may need to sign a waiver. Ledson - should arrive around 11 and depart by 12:30. DenBeste Motorsports (820 DenBeste Ct., Windsor, CA 95492) - arrive around 1 PM - plenty of parking around his facility. Tom |

Doug, Meeting at Starbuck's at 7.30 works for me. This time I'm going to leave out the front exit! Chuck |
Doug, Chuck, That will work for us. Scott |
Tom, Sent my check in yesterday so it might miss the 6/30 deadline ... just for me. |
Doug, Do you mean the Starbucks at 85, S. Bascom, 17, 880, Los Gatos Blvd? The one in San Jose-Los Gatso-Cambian?:3DSMILE: Scott |
Scott, I got an email from Doug and can confirm that - anyway you look at it - that's the one. If we all meet there at 7.30 - 7.45, we'll have plenty of time for some coffee and chat before heading out to meet up with Tom and the Peninsula group. See you on Saturday. Chuck |
gene, how about meeting at the Chevron station ~8:30 and wait for the group to come down 19th ave? |
Chuck, Is your better half coming along? Danette is. Scott |
Scott, We're going to meet at the Starbucks on Los Gatos Blvd & Hwy 85. I'm pretty sure (at this point) that Kathleen is going to join me. See you around 7:30 to 7:45! I just read Tom's email and it sounds like we're going to meet others at the rest stop on 280 just past 92 at 8:30 am. |
Scott, I'm looking forward to meeting Danette. Milana has a medical licensing exam next week, so it's a big "no go" for her. Chuck |
It will be good to see you guys. Doug, I hope Kathleen can make it. See ya Saturday! Scott |
Ron, I'm still trying to figure out the logistics for Sat. I should have an answer for you by week's end. |
