I was driving down the freeway and had a motorcycle CHP come a long side me and hold his hand to his to his ear  so I push in the clutch and give it a rev.  just got a thumbs up

Yes. I was asking for it and deserved it. I was 25 over in a 40 and he took mercy upon me and gave me a 10 over and a warning, which I am grateful for. Now I travel much more smart. No more than 5 over in town, which is where I got the ticket.

Tickets
I have been stopped 8 times and no tickets. A couple of axx chewings. 
One time in Ohio but that was Arizona Jack fault, I was following him on I-70.
One time for spining the tires at 50 mph. One time for doing a burnout for the camera man at a car show. Long story. No tickets 
Yes I have slowed down

this guy has good ears, he heard me 3 blocks away doing a burnout on wet pavement. No ticket

In my first Cobra I got pulled over a few times for speeding, several tickets, a couple of times the Cop would let me go with a warning. I thought I was superman and I guess I deserved the tickets, even though they were all out of town on Country roads, never in residential areas. It took a while for me to realize its not worth trying to take those awesome corners a bit faster each time and scaring myself when the tires starts to loose grip 
Cops are everywhere and seem to know which roads invite speeding.
Thank god for onramps

The very first drive I jumped on it just a little beacuse I was still afraid of it. I hit it up to about 55, looked in my mirror and there was a cop right on my tail, I mean I could not even see his license plate. I came up to the stop sign thinking I have not owned this car 10 minutes and I am going to get a ticket I was so nervous that I proceeded to sputter and puke the engine leaving the stop light and stalled it in the middle of a pretty busy road. I just waived and smiled, he waived back and I was on my way. |
