Joe,
I will take a look at my calendar and see if it is a free week end.
I haven't had many this summer.
Are you going on the drive this Saturday?

I'm not going this Saturday. I'm doing a car show here in Gilroy.
I hope you can make it.

Hello Csxwnab,
I am going to Monterey too! Are there others attending the event? Where are you parking? Not on the dirt field right? Look forward seeing other cobra's.

Jaime,
I may be wrong, but I think that even the Norcal SAAC's parking corral is on some sort of crushed material...I've heard it's a bit dusty.
The only other option is regular parking in the field...that'll be one dusty mess by the end of the day.
Probably best to take your street car.

Hey Doug,
thanks for the info, were still bringing our cobras but may take a taxi or someone in our group should have a street car. Might do some sweet talking and try to park near the pond, who knows.

The SAAC coral is always dusty as is laguna seca in general. ---stay local (if possible) get an EARLY start unless you like traffic jams on an epic scale.
--See you there!
I remember the 200 ferrari traffic jam in 94 itallians belching coolant everywhere.

I took my cobra the first year I bought it. It was the year for Ford. We parked on the asphalt and it was great. Went back the next year and parked in the dirt corral. I would never do that again. I had to close my eyes for the first half hour driving down the road. Imagine that.
When I got home. I spent an hour blow everything off with my air compressor before trying to wash it!!
