Randy - We'll have to make our way back over to Baji's one of these days...maybe the following weekend? The folks at Baji's probably think we abandoned them.

Thanks Doug, but I truly perfer the longer drive up & over hi84. Baji's is a freeway drive for me - not that thrilling. It's just a matter of priorities, and with kids, they take priority. I'd still like to take another run to Duarte's.

I agree. Baji's is also the same "freeway" drive that I take to work every day, but it's fun to meet there, BS, and then run over to Santana Row for a bit.

Steve,
When it gets too cold, the heater isn't that effective. Multiple jackets, flight gloves and ski cap and I'm good to go.
How's it going? Did you replace the alternator? Ready to take the "mean green machine" out?

Heater? Boys, boys, boys (and girls). Real men (and women) don't use heaters, they use thermal underwear

Well I will be there. ..but--.in an AMG.
Good news is that Lilly ;SPF2734 will move under her own power this saturday.
Engine runs well now, I spent a few hours with the fuel maps and I think I got it nailed.
Replaced Alt /the alt is charging. (Gen 3 , 130A) , but there are some teething issues and lack of a hood (bonnet) right this second, that mandates an AMG for this AM run.
Note: undercar exhaust provides heated seats all on its own.
See you guys in time for coffeeeee.
2734 Punch list issues;
1. Power brakes are not getting engough vacuum , and need to be re-bled.
2. Speedo no go; cable rotates when wheels move but gauge does not care.
3. oil pressure gauge line needs to be repl.(no big deal)
4. tach removed for acc to speedo and oil pressure.
5. alternator bolt looks crooked front to back and seems to squeal when engine is started.

Great run up to Alice's yesterday! The views of the SF Bay and the ocean from Skyline Boulevard were awesome!
Hope everyone made it around the tree limb that had fallen in the middle of the road on the way back.
