Last Coast Drive
Monday, I took my wife on what will probably be our last drive up the coast in the Cobra. The day couldn't have been any better - bright blue skies, sunshine and almost no traffic - which made it all the more bittersweet.
No, I'm not selling the car, but I've bought into a business with a couple of old friends and business associates. I'm taking on the role of managing partner, which requires a move to Buffalo (yikes!). When I get back to San Jose in a few weeks, the first item on my to do list will be to put the Cobra on a truck heading east.
There's good news in that my first priority is to open an office in Tampa. I figure getting that office up and running will require me to be in Tampa at least 50% of the time, probably until around early May.
Anyone want to guess where the truck carrying the Cobra is heading?
It's been fun hanging out and driving with all of the bay area crew, and I'll miss you guys.
We are going to buy a loft in San Fran to use when we come back to visit(hopefully) more than a few times during the year, so I'll be making an occasional surprise visit to Baji's in a rental car. Of course, it will be yellow.

Chuck, good luck on your venture! Was going to see who was up for driving on Saturday but I guess that'd be a NO from you.

Hey Chuck, your title had me believing this was a post requesting one last "summer weather" coast run for the gang. I wish you the very best on your business venture and will truly miss your company. You are a class act all the way.
Be sure to let us know how you are doing and drop us a line when you get back into town. Thanks again for all the great pics you took with us.

Chuck,
I have enjoyed getting to know you at the Saturday breakfasts. Best of luck for your new business venture and your move, sounds like a great opportunity. You will have a new part of the country to explore in your Cobra ... and your yellow beast will certainly wake up the locals!

Good luck in the new venture. We will all miss you in the Bay Area. I'm sure there will be some Cobra Dudes in the Tampa area.
Don't forget the Springbank!
Dave.

Hey Chuck,
We will miss your big smile at breakfast at Baji's. Good luck in your new venture. Be careful to avoid the wild dogs on the Florida golf courses (ya know, then ones that low to the ground with the long tails and noses).
Regards,
Randy...
