Default There are still SB100 numbers available

The DMV supervisor I was working with this morning called Sacramento about whats next on my SB100 and they told him there are still a handful of numbers left if anyone wants one.

I thought so. I mentioned a couple times on other threads that the DMV website has not been updated from January 2008.

No big deal. I had to go to the BAR twice. I was "kicked to the curb" the first time, because my paperwork was not correct. In fact, I think I did almost everything in the process twice.

The latest "could be snafu" is my personalized plates have not shown up and its been almost three months.

State budget woes?

Waiting for my personalized plates is eerily similar to waiting for your SB100 certificate to show up in the mail. You check the mailbox everyday, waiting, and then waiting some more. I keep waiting for the notification that they've arrived and are ready for pickup.

If you're refering to jdog (Jerome), he hasn't posted here since his beautiful black CSX was sold, which was some time back.

Since there are a few SB100 #'s remaining, a GT40 roller sounds good right about now. I just need to shake that bare money tree in the backyard.

Ah.. I guess when you get sick with brain cancer and don't visit for a while the crowd changes. That's sad he sold it..

The gentleman you refer to as being in charge of the plates no longer haunts here. He sold his shelby last year. I did call him last month and he is still charged with the presses..............

Obviously your brain surgery worked out well - sorry you had to go through that. Is everything OK now?

Thanks for asking. Most days go pretty well. I on occasion have an off day but those are tolerable. Before the surgery I was having hearing loss, headaches and then my sight went on my left side. My Dr sent me for an MRI after her stand-in (she was on vacation) diagnosed it as a sinus infection.

When I had the MRI they wouldn't even let me leave it was so apparent that something was there. they had me call my Dr immediately and handed me the films. The pic that is on my avatar is from those films. A 3" brain tumor. ick.. 12 days later a neurosurgeon took it out.

Sometimes it is strange how things work out - I bet each day is a blessing?

I praise every day that I can wake up and be with my wife and kids. Everything above that is a bonus. I have found some great improvements in my life as well from the surgery. Mostly psychologically. But there were some physical improvements as well.
