North Bay Cobra Breakfast Sunday March 1st
Hey Cobra buffs - It's Official - Our North Bay Cobra breakfast this Sunday, 9 am, March 1st, will be a special brunch in Sonoma "On The Plaza". All BACC and Sacto members are invited in addition to the North Bay "regulars".
Murphy's Irish Pub has agreed to open its doors just for us at 9am. Murphy's is located on the east side of the Plaza a short way down a "mini mall" court. The manager has worked out a very nice but limited menu for us. I'm impressed with the variety.
Street parking should not be a problem at that hour. The weather forcast is not promising, so if its raining or threatening, please join us in your daily driver. For those not familiar, the Sonoma Plaza is located at the 90 degree turn (north to west) of Hwy 12 in the center of Sonoma. The local intersection is Napa Street and Broadway. You can visit www.sonomapub.com for more info. Murphy's is located at 464 First Street East about 1/3 of the way north between Napa Street and West Spain.
For the big eaters there is a traditional Irish breakfast, Called "The Full Monty" which consists of fried eggs, bacon or sausage, grilled tomatoes, sauteed mushrooms, baked beans, toast and jelly. Other faire includes a Sonoma Benedict, a slow-cooked scramble, cinnamon raisin french toast, bagels & cheese, a kid's plate and various A La Carte items including fruit. They promised to do their best to have the meals reach the tables as close to the same time as possible, and the locals say good things about their food, chef and staff.
If possible, Please RSVP by PM so I can give them a ball-park head count. Thanks.
(However, if you want to attend at the last minute. we'd love to have you.)
