Wed 4/1 - Mid-week drive/lunch on the Santa Cruz Coast?
Now that John (ShelbyRacer) has his car back together, I mentioned to him that we should schedule a mid-week drive and lunch on Wednesday, April 1st.
I expect that it will be tough for people to break away from work, but how can you resist a nice cruise up Hwy 1 to Davenport for lunch? 
Here's what I was thinking:
Wednesday, April 1, 2009
Meet at the K-Mart parking lot in Scotts Valley at 11:00 am
270 Mount Hermon Rd
Scotts Valley, CA
We'll drive up through Felton to Hwy 9 out to Hwy 1 North to Davenport
Eat lunch at the Whale City Bakery Bar & Grill
490 Highway 1, Davenport

Drive South on Hwy 1 to Bonny Doon Road. We'll wind our way on Bonny Doon Road to Empire Grade. From there, we'll take Felton Empire Road which drops us right back into Felton.

I call foul!
Wish I could make it. I took last Thurs and Fri off to go down to Disneyland for the cheer competition. OMG!!!!!! Disneyland was a Cluster F$$K!!. I couldn't believe how crowded it was.

I used to love to drive through La Honda when the weather is nice. Light traffic, good visability, turns but fast road.
It will be good to see some fellow cobras tommorrow. I took the car out for a quick tuning run today. It still needs some dialing in, but it is coming along nicely.

And a good time was had by all! :)
I guess there are some advantages to being laid off  . The weather was great. The drive was fun. The company was good. The car ran and held together! Cheers to everyone and thans to Doug for thinking it up and arranging it. Definitely going to have to get together more .
