That said, we are in the midst of baseball season, with both boys playing the majors for the BELMONT-REDWOOD SHORES Red Sox (currently sitting in a tie with the Cardinals at the top of their division!).

Back in the bay area, I am looking forward to dusting off the Kirkham and getting it back on the road!

My boys have a 9:00 am game this Saturday against the Cubbies. I noted the BBQ at Dynamic and thought about attending? Thoughts? Would have loved to make Alices (never been there) but the timing will not work because of our baseball game, etc.

I know Dynamic hosted an event earlier this year. David is terrific and I was wondering if other members were going to make it?

Cheers! Good to be back!

Al, check this thread out:

April 25th NorCal BBQ @ Dynamic R/C

Also, the NorCal Shelby Club will be there too. I should be able to make an appearance, but having two polished Kirkhams there at the same time may cause a major aurora borealis.

You guys get two polished Krikhams side by side, and with the right amount of sunlight bouncing around, you just might have a start on a solar BBQ

The two polished Kirkhams have never been seen side by side.

I'm not certain they exist. Urban legend??

That's not fair, Doug, you've seen mine once.

With two polished Kirkhams, there may be some "polarity" issue like when you have two magnets close to each other, they will repel away from each other, and cannot actually touch.

I hear that it's dangerous if you look at two polished Kirkhams in the sun at the same time. Something about retinal burning.
