Default Tour de Vin 2009 is a wrap. PICTURES (LOTS)

First, I want to thank everyone involved in making this a memorable trip. My wife (Melinda) and I had a great time and felt this was a well organized trip. Thanks to the "Leads" in not losing anyone ("after" leaving Rodney Strong.) Special thanks to Dan and Christine Shieberl who had to take the helm and organize all of the logistics required to pull this thing off, and the extrodinary engravings of the glasses and wine bottles (sorry, I didn't get a chance to get a picture of the wine glasses. )

I've cropped a lot of these pictures to either 1,000 or 800 pixels, but if you want the "raw" formatted pictures (over 3,000 pixels wide), email me at hhong4@comcast.net and I'll send them to you.

Feel free to yank pictures for your own personal use and/or consent of any that aren't of you/your car(s). Along those lines, let me know if you want me to remove the pictures as well.

A couple in the 47 some photo's are actually pretty good for a BACC calendar photo. Enjoy and thanks again to EVERYONE for making this a great trip.

Default Great Tour de Vin pictures

Herman,
Great pictures! What a lot of fun. I'll send you some snapshots (not great photos) from Flight 1. Good to see you and Melinda again, let's do it again, this time in a cobra!

I'd like to thank Christine, Dan and Bob Stinson for their work on this years Tour de Vin. I was unable to make it to this years tour due to a conflict (close friends wedding) and tried to do what I could to help but the credit goes to Christine for all of her hard work in pulling the details with the wineries and caterer together ( AND THOSE GREAT PRIZES that she etched). I know how much time is involved in putting these events together and appreciate Christines efforts in making this years Tour de Vin enjoyable for those that attended.

Thanks again to all that attended and to Christine, Dan and Bob.

See you at Snakes to the Lake in Sept.

Mike

Got the photos.

Yeah, it'd be nice if I'd quit bringing the Audi all the time!
Btw, I enjoyd the Bali photos (sorry if I was glazed over, but I was really tired that day.... wine doesn't help things either!!!)

Mike, Marv, missed you both. I'm sure the wedding was great but I wouldn't worry about having to hand it off. I think she kinda thrives off the challenge anyway!!! Besides, I'm sure you have your hands full with Snakes-to-the-Lakes (which we are trying to figure out who's going to babysit our little one.) We 50/50 on it right now.

Hope to see you both in September.

-Herman

Let me add my thanks to Christine and Dan for such a great event, and to Herman for the wonderful pictures, and to Mike for the support, and to Tony for sharing his wine during lunch (yummy)!

Christine, the etched wine bottles and glasses were GORGEOUS!!! I admit that if you had etched more, then you could have sold them to like "hot cakes". Everyone commented on how beautiful they were. I wish I was one of the lucky winners!

Thanks,
Randy...
