Default Wish I was at the meetup last week

Hello,
It sure looks like the Bass Lake trip was fun, I wish I made it, but my Cobra went into the shop for a oil leak under the intake manifold and rear main seal. The mechanic also found that the parking brake cable was rubbing on the rear wheel. So far, he has re-routed the cable, re-sealed the intake manifold, and currently has the transmission off so that the rear main seal can be replaced. No more oil leaks, I hope!
The wheels and tires have come in and I had them mounted and balanced yesterday. I think they look very good. (I am happy to lose the 91 Mustang wheels.)
I hope to make the next meetup, and if I can't, I am sure my Dad (Jack) will.
Take Care,
Chris

In addition to the above issues, it looks like a new transmission is in order as well.....Hope to have it back before the next ride.

Thumbs up

Got our Cobra back today! It runs great now, with new seals, gaskets, and a new transmission. Ready to roll now!

Hey Chris, thats great news! Your Cobra is ready to roll! I figured to grab one of the kids and just wander since no one is jumping in here!

Two Cobras is better than one, so if you want we can always meet halfway and figure out a drive somewhere.

Is this a bad weekend (21st??) you think? I cant go the following week, so its Cobra time for me this coming Saturday.

Whats your thoughts on this?

Rick P, are you working this Saturday?? Two of you guys up there, I am outnumbered so we can come up your way!

Hi Cindy,
I have to leave for work from Modesto by 6:45 pm. How about Friday after rush hour traffic? or early Saturday? I have the next three weekends off after this weekend though.
