Default Gas, Where to buy

Anybody know where to buy 100% 93 octane gas or race gas in the Chattanooga/Cleveland area? Mine has sat with approx. 1/4 tank of 93 ethanol gas in it all winter and it stinks to high heaven and is idling terrible. Would like to buy a 55 gal drum of race gas or 100% 93.

Josh, Mid Night Oil in Ooltewah has Hi-Test with no alcohol. ( Thats what I use) Paid $ 4.15 a gallon. Crazy! Race engine Design in Rossville Ga. is where I used to buy my race gas for the drag car. You can buy it by the gallon or a whole 55 gal drum. I had to have my carb. rebuilt on my big block Baja cause I used ethanol gas. I don't used that garbage on the boat or the Cobra now. Mark

I was told once that one of the big oil dealers in Chattanooga (Benton Oil, iirc) sold high octane racing gas from a pump at their plant. You might want to give them a call.

Default Gas, Where to buy

Knowing where the gas is coming from is well and good. But I do not buy gas, I buy gasoline. No one can say for certain where the gasoline at any station originates. I use to live near a refinery in California. Deliver trucks from every known gas station were getting their gas fom the same place. This changes on a daily basis depending on price and availability.
