5 by 5. Message received. This could be a great thread....that is until someone personally attacks another member and they have to shut it down.

Please, please, please, please, PLEASE! Over... OR... OUT!!! Never both. They are contradictory. Only Sky King and Penny talk like that. It's fingernails on a chalk board!

What, not over and out, surely you jest,

in trucker school they tought me that over, meant "I am thru with this transmission and now your turn to talk', and that over and out meant, "i am finished with this transmission and will not be talking with you anymore."

Now I gotta go unlearn all that stuff, I most likely have marred by grandkids by using over and out with them on occasion... woe is me....

see ya....

If you're a trucker I bet your grandkids are tough enough to take it. Just tell them it's part of the new administrations "change" as in "hope and change"!

That would be so nice to tell those kids about change, but they passed up change long ago and now got those hands out for green backs. they just can not comprehend.

Our next lesson will be when to use the word..."REPEAT"....and when NOT to use it!

hmmmm??

At the wrong end of the 'playing field' one would think 'repeat' is a bad thing......

At the tail end of a 'boomer', 'repeat' just translates to a lot of butt kickin'

?

You got it! It's that wrong end of the playing field you have to look out for. (As opposed to "Say again".)
