Default Need help with rim offsets

I know its been asked many times before, but can someone please with authority give me the correct wheel width & offset as to fill the rear & front wells completely on my 2001 classic roadster. The rear is a 8.8 with drums.I changed the rear axles to a five stud axle,So old rims are N/G,I didnt like the look anyway.I modified the front brakes to bigger brakes (5 stud)which brings rotors out 3/8 more.no problem I know a little math and can figure new offset from the stock original cobra offset.I'm 98% finished with the build, just rims/tires to order.with luck some smoke and rubber to follow.Need to run 17 inch rims due to front rotors.I have the need, the need to beat the snott out of thing before the weather get too hot.Rims and tires are the last thing. Thanks in advance .Andy

Andy, Don Scott built my CR I with 8.8 rear, 10" drum brakes ( Mustang GT ), Mustang II front suspension with 9" disc brakes:

Using Compomotive HB wheels:

Front: 8", 4.0" backspace, 245X60X15

Rear: 9", 4.6" backspace, 275X60X15

Not the same as yours, but thought I would mention.
