unfortunately the "TOP" like you say is glued in. It is NOT a piece that is sold with the kit, it IS a part of the kit.

I've made a buck for the lower, if you want I can make you one for $45.00 including shipping? Bring it to Pentwater, I'll build you the upper. What's 1,500 miles!
