Default Bullet Mirror Mounting

What is the best way to mount finishline bullet mirrors on my CR. I do not want to use the long base, basically the stem,to use the factory holes.
I geuss i'am having a brain block.

thanks

Since you asked How,...not where. The easiest I have found are #10 Stainless Tapered Phillip Head Marine screws. Place the mirrors where you want them, then drill the holes-all the way through- then put RED LOCTITE on the screws and Screw them in. Don't move the mirror at all for 24 hours. If you do them this way the screws wont come loose on their own!

NOW.... IF, you want them to be functional install 3" Fisheye Mirrors right over the factory installed mirrors. Believe it or not it only takes about a half hours drive that you get accustomed to the Fisheye Look AND you will actually be able to see to the rear!

NAPA, CarQuest, Autozone(?), OR Just about any Truck Stop. They really do work, had them on DV (as well as others) and I'll bet after 4 years only a couple people spotted them!

OFM,
I'm sure you have seen them. They have an adhesive back you just peel and stick them on your flat mirror.

I just got a couple of these http://www.autobarn.net/rounsticcon....d02577aa239ccf
they are plastic but I found they popped right out of their backer and went right into a 3.5" bullet mirror housing.
