But will he fit in it?
Hey guys,
This is my first post here, so go easy.
I could go into my story, but it's the same as many of you. I have 'the bug'. I have now reached the age where I have the means for the Cobra of my dreams (since I was about 10!) and I'm about to pull the trigger.
I'm looking at a Classic Roadsters Cobra for sale semi-locally. The seller seems to be an agreeable guy, the price is right, and the car seems to be STELLAR in fit/finish/quality, and it has the right motor (A big deal for me). No expense was spared on the build of the car and the engine....it's cherry.
However...there's an issue. I'm a tall guy (6'3) with a bit of a gut (bought and paid for I might add). How do the CR Cobras work with bigger guys? I've not had a chance to get up to see the car in-person yet (it's about a 3 hour drive each way), so before I spend the gas to get there, I'd love to hear some opinions on how these CR cars fit you bigger guys out there.
I'm also looking at another Lone Star car that is also close (they fit the big guys better with adjustable pedals, drop pans, etc)...but it's got the wrong motor. Would much rather have the big block.
Thoughts?
