Default Need input on components

1) I'm planning on visiting Ididit tomorrow. I already have the column, but what else do I need for the Classic Roadster install (length of D shaft, bearing blocks, etc.)?

2) What type oil pan fits the Classic Roadster? I'm building up a 347, so it would be a 302. (Front sump??)

Thanks!

Motorcity, almost any pan will fit, including the extra deep sumps!
About the only thing you will need is one heim joint (pillow block), 28"s long and I didit's multiple posistioning column bracket! Makes for one great system!

Thanks for the input, DV. Hope all is well.

Ididit has a nice showroom with Vintage Air stuff, lots of Hot Rod stuff, and they had some door latches that I'm considering. I'll be visiting them again soon, I'm sure.

MotorcityCobra: For a really cool pan check out Armando's Cobra replica pan. Front sump with kicked out sides. Very nice. That's what I put on my 289 FIA.

MotorcityCobra. what column did you get?
Collapsible column?
Length? How far does it extend past the firewall?
How much of a drop collar did you need?

I will be ordering mine soon. Thanks.

I got the 28" with tilt. I'm going to dry fit it to the car (probably with exhaust u bolts) before I pick up the real stuff. DV apparently used the 3" drop brackets when he did CaptEddie's build, and has mentioned Ididit having some adjustable drop brackets.
