Default CR II project for sale

I'm looking at selling my CR II Cobra project. Looking at going a new direction with my car hobby. See ad in the classified section.

Hate to kill the ad, but I recently picked up basically the same thing, without seats, steering components, and radiator, for 10K cash. So... maybe... it's simply a matter of economy Good luck with the sale!

RedEye, the price you paid may have to do with that you bought a StreetBreast cobra. From my understanding here on the Forums, it's not particulally desireable car.

onetrackrider, I think your car it priced fairly, now it's a matrer of finding the right buyer...
Problem on your post here is that most people visiting the Classic Roadster II forum already have one or are trying to complete one.

Any advice on where to market? I've had it on CL for about 10 months & had about a dozen or so people interested, but 90% come to realize that to finish it they don't have the skills to do it themselves..

Default CR kit

I was reading your sale post & wondered if you had bought the wheels, roll bar , mirrors etc for the car? I saw one of these at a car show yesterday and was impressed with the room it provided for the driver & passenger, but pissed when the guy told me they were out of buisness!
Just wanted to know if your list of "needed things" was missing those items too?
thanks,
Paul

One of the main reasons I picked the CR II was because of the room, being 6'2" I tested a few other manufactures & the CR II was the only one that was not cramped..As for the "needed things" the list is pretty much it & can't see buying them just to have more money tied up in the project. And based on the lack of interest it was a good decision & has allowed me to pursue my other interests..
