Brake issues with a CRII

Does anyone know what power brake system CRII used with their kit?

Does anyone have an idea of what difficulties I would run into converting the power brakes to manual brakes?

Same power as the mustang donor car. I ripped it out and put in 3 masters, 2 for brake and a slave for the clutch. Was pretty easy to swap over.

Mine was built with manual brakes from the start. It uses a corvette manual disc brake master cylinder and the usual 11' brake setup. It works well. I think you would have to change the pedal pivot point to get more leverage when going from power to manual.

If you look in my gallery I have posted a pic of the pivot point change. My brakes were weak and I discovered that the original builder of my car had the pivot set up for power booster brakes but no power booster. The holes are already in the pedal box you only need to change the pivot point on the pedal lever. To do this I recommend you remove your steering wheel, makes getting in and out of the foot box area much easier. I don't know how to post it but Wilwood website has a diagram charting the correct pedal/pivot point ratios. I forgot all the details or I would share. Good luck!

MaSnaka, Thanks for your response. I thought there might be an issue with the pivot point. There have been posts in the past about this issue. Our 1st job will be to try and quiet the vacuum pump. If that doesn't work we will try to switch to manual brakes. I should have bought a weber set up with a manifold that creates a vacuum. Doh!

Thanks to all for your suggestions. The resolution was putting a 2-way filter off an old GMC truck on the output side of the vacuum pump and it became no noisier than the fuel pump. I can live with that.
