Default Frame Dinged or not Dinged?

I am assuming somewhere along the way my frame got dinged over the years as it was moved around (and never built). It looks like a corner of the top of the transmission tunnel portion of the frame was bent up. Before I bend it back, I thought I would double check with the group to make sure it is actually bent or was it suppose to be this way. I am planning on sending the frame out to be sandblasted and painted soon and obviously did not want to have to bend it after painting.

I have attached pictures of the area. I would appreciate it if anyone could let me know if this is truly bent. The rest of the frame looks good, except for surface rust (it was stored under cover but in a damp area).

Thanks!

Thanks Charlie. I would have hated to send the frame out to be sandblasted and painted then find I have to hammer the corner flat.

I appreciate the help!

Steve,
Made that way, it is OK. The bend is to allow the rear of your emergency brake handle to move as necessary.
