Robert, I don't need a copy (and I don't have a CR), but I just wanted to say that I think it's brilliant that you would go to the trouble of not only scanning the whole thing, but also making it text searchable...and then making it available to everyone.

Someone buy this man a beer!

Hi Artur-

I emailed you the links, twice. I can't email you the entire manual - the file is too large to attach to email- Sorry.

Default Please send link

Hi Robert!
I just picked up a true 'barn-find' CCR and I'd love to get the link to the assembly manual! My new-to-me Father-son project is assembled with a crate Ford 390 and Hurst 4 speed Top-loader (never fired), disc front and drum rears. The windshield frame is installed and I have the glass, but no gasket. The wiring harness is partially installed, gas tank is in - I've determined that I still need the following and would REALLY appreciate any recommendations as to where I would be able to purchase these missing items:
1. Driver & passenger rollbars
2. Clutch, brake and gas peddle assembly
3. Recommended master brake cylinder & proportioning valve
4. Shifter assembly
5. Hinges for the hood/bonnet and trunk
*I think thats about it for now LOL!!!!
Thanks in advance -

RB,

I built my CR1 back in 1990 and my build manuals are in pretty good shape, just some parts notes etc and some dogeared pages. I'm interested in obtaining the link to the manual that you scanned mostly to determine if there are any changes from my original that I built the car with back in 1990.

I'm currently going through a full body off rebuild, suspension upgrades, muffler replacement and overall updating. A copy of your manual would be helpful.

Thanks for all your support of the CR community, please let me know if there is anything I can do for you.

My email address is rbgray99@gmail.com

Default unfinished CR kit

About 6 months ago I purchased a Cobra kit car without knowing who manufactured it. looking at pictures on the club site I am pretty sure it is a Classic Roadster. I do not know the age but it is important to substantiate its manufacturer as I intend on going the SB100 path as a 1965. I purchased the body and a home made chassis which I was told followed factory specs, kind of a poor job, am not sure if I will fix this one or build a new one. The most identifying differences with this car are the door opening which goes almost to the floor and the totally integrated fender wells, floor and trunk, of course the 92 inch wheel base. I have never even sat in a Cobra except when a friend let me drive his around the block, that was in 1968.
The build manual would be invaluable as I have purchased several books which are all helpful but not specific to this car.
I have done several ground up restorations, but this one will be a family driver, the others turned out to be too valuable, my son is deep into the cars and we enjoy working together on the projects.
Thank you and I hope I have described the car so that you think I have a CR.
