Default CMO needed (Certificate of Manufacturer Origin)

Ok I've done my homework with the Washington State Patrol, and our DMV, to get my Cobra titled, reg. and Lic. With a CMO, a weigh scale tag, and Bill of sale, I can get everything I need, clear title, etc. Without a CMO I can still get everything, but the State will hold my title for 3-years (Incase there is any lien's) on the Kit. The DMV said even a copy of a CMO is good enough. Did anyone have a CMO I can get a copy of?? I still may have mine as the org, owner packed some of my piece's before I brought the car and sent them to his new home in Mi. But I may never see any of those piece's, not high on his list. Here in Wa. the car can be inspected (VIN#) even before it's done, as long as it run's under it's own power, so it's going in as soon as I get the CMO. Since the car (Kit) was built (1989) it's over the 25year rule, the worst it will be titled as a 1989 Cobra Kit-Car, the best a 1965 427 Cobra Kit-Car, the State Patrol will make that ruling. I have a few lead's out there, but haven't heard back on any yet. Thanks folks for looking this over, Tom.

A copy of another MCO will not help, they need the one with your VIN on it. Otherwise you could claim title to someone else's car.

These Kit's do not have VIN# on them from Classic Roadster. I've already been though that. Nothing on the classis or body.

That's what I thought too, till I got to talking with the other Classic Roadster guy's, The CMO is just a piece of paper, saying it was built by Classic Roadster in ND. No Vin# stamped on anything, or on the CMO. And that's all Washington need's, is yes it was built by this Company.

The chassis doesn't have a number assigned to it by CR when it was built?
My Hurricane does and it's on the MSO.

That is correct Larry, no VIN# anywhere on CR cars. I just talked with rbmoore, and he said the same thing his CR car had nothing on it till the first time it was inspected by the SP (in his state) by the org. owner.

If they did, then they put the stamping someplace where it was never meant to be seen on the finished car...

I scoured my green car's frame from one end to the other, and never found any numbers stamped on it.
