Smile Making progress

After 3 months of sorting out unfinished kit I have a few items taken care of;
.
-made passenger door hinge and mounted, latched both doors( no small feat as had to be extra careful because car is painted)
.
.-mounted gas tank and lemans filler.
.
-modified mustang pedals and mounted them.
.
-modified mustang power brake system, installed new master cylinder and brake lines. (had to fix 7 bad items in brake system)
.
-made brackets and installed steering column

.will move on to the dash next.

Looks like you have the door lined up about perfect...
I am happy you got the car and good luck with the rest of the build!

Default Hood done

Hi,
Had to cut out hood scoop air intake and touch up paint. Also made hood hinges, mounted it and installed latches. I like the size of the scoop. Also installed wiper motor and wiper boxes.

Its looking great! I like the way the color highlights the curves.

Every time I think I will finally will have time to get going on mine to finish, something else sucks up the space/time.

Did you change the operation/location of the clutch & brake pedals?

Default pedals

Hi,
I used 1990 mustang pedals and shortened the clutch side 3/4" and moved the pedals left that much to clear the steering column. The brake was in the same spot. Made gas pedal bracket also.

That all looks more normal than mine. My clutch pedal is very high off the floor. And it would be impossible to heal/toe.
